Custom Order Reservation

Work with me to create a personalized piece of Mavens Jewelry for yourself!

A few guardrails for custom design:

• There will be 3-4 custom design slots per month, released on the 1st of each month at 12pm PST. Once they’re sold out, no more custom designs will be accepted until the following month.
• All custom design requests require a $200 deposit, and completed orders will be shipped within 30-45 days of deposit receipt (in most cases, it will be sooner, but please allow for 45 days if material sourcing is required). The deposit includes consultation, design, and materials and labor up to that cost threshold.
• Balance of Item’s Agreed Upon Price is due upon the item's completion or within 30 days of deposit receipt. Invoice will be sent via Shopify once the final price is agreed upon.
• I no longer accept customer's gemstones for custom designs without prior approval. I know we all have loose gems that we don't know what to do with, but I pride myself on my gemstone partnerships, and therefore choose to primarily allow for fine, heirloom gems (diamonds, rubies and sapphires) to be used in my custom work. I *sometimes* make exceptions to this; DM through Instagram or email me prior to purchasing to be sure. Apologies for any inconvenience!
• If we opt to use your gemstones, making a purchase of a custom design here releases this artist of any liability in that gem’s breakage or damage. As always, I am extremely careful, but accidents happen and gems sometimes break, with or without any help from me.
• Custom design requests are welcome for items which are similar in design to my other items, whether currently available or sold. I do not recreate the work of other designers, but am happy to work with you to design something within my wheelhouse.
• Do you have old gold jewelry you're looking to revive or make use of? Metal credit is available by request, for karat gold & platinum only. I can also use your metals (14K and higher, with legible hallmark) for use in our designs.
• Once the design consultation takes place, whether in-person or via DM or chat, the deposit is non-refundable, but can be used toward the purchase of a piece of jewelry within your budget, custom or otherwise. The deposit is not an indication of nor an agreement to the full price of any completed piece.
