Convertible Pendant/Brooch with Dendritic Agate and Antique Heart-Shaped Glass Posey Vase

This collection is all about trying new things and letting go of any notions of what can and cannot be considered fine jewelry.

I am so bleeping proud of this construction: a piece that can be worn as a pendant, or as a brooch, or as a combo of either. Two museum-quality dendritic agates are joined by cast Sterling silver twigs and the head of a California poppy pod. The rare red dendritic is set in a 22K yellow gold bezel over Sterling silver, while the large, muted round dendritic agate is set in fine and Sterling silver. There’s also a piece of ombré white-to-gold mother of pearl behind the large dendritic agate, which looks amazing when held to the light.

The cast poppy pod has a small hole through which the pin stem may be threaded, and then hooked into the clasp at the base of the round dendritic agate. The dendritic agate with the posey vase can be worn on its own either as a pendant or a brooch, and the posey vase can also be worn by itself as a brooch.

Note: glass is fragile, and I am unable to replace this component if it is damaged.

 As a pendant, it measures 2 3/8” length by 1 1/4” width. As a brooch, it’s 2 1/8” length.

Sold without a chain, as the pendant/brooch only, because I couldn’t decide between silver and gold filled, nor could I decide on a length… but I’m happy to customize something for you! Just message me.
