Large Rubellite Tourmaline Necklace

The largest freeform piece of rubellite tourmaline I think I’ve ever worked with, this gem gradates from the softest seafoam green to the richest hue of fuschia.

I’ve set it in a patchwork of bezel, with 22K yellow gold highlighting the horizontal edges and blackened fine silver quieting the verticals.

It’s set over Sterling silver and has Sterling cable chain affixed to it. The necklace is 20” total length with the pendant measuring 1 3/8” x 1 1/4”.
