Earrings with Antique Sard Intaglios of Artemis

Look both ways before acting like a Goddess.

Sard is not a glamorous word for this richly-hued translucent and highly-carveable relative of the more familiar semi-precious gemstone carnelian.

That’s ok. The intaglio carvings of Artemis make up for it. A matched pair created in France in the the 1930s are set in blackened fine and Sterling silver settings, and swing from my 14K yellow gold looped in hinge through 14K yellow gold tubing.
