The gems are rare Ivory Creek Variscite in an elegant egg shape, with deep navy tattooed like rivers seen from space. They’re set in bezels of 22K solid gold and fine silver, the joints of these metals meeting where the gem’s lines meet the edge.

I normally don’t do bezels that cover so much of the gem, but when you’re working with gems this subtle and 22K pure gold, best to let them really snuggle. They look like they’ve been gift-wrapped in precious metal!
